A newly created role is available for an experienced Office Manager to provide effective leadership and a high quality financial and administrative support service to support the life of the parish.
This is a permanent, full time role, working 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm although some flexibility may be required outside of these core business hours. In return we offer a salary of £23,000 per annum, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday and a matched contributary pension scheme up to 6% along with a salary exchange scheme.
You will report to the designated Parish Priest, communicating and providing updates in respect of daily activity within the parish and ensuring the smooth running of the office. You will supervise two Parish Administrators to include allocation of work tasks in accordance with the needs of the parish.
Applicants must have; strong leadership skills in managing others, excellent verbal and written skills, strong IT skills to include website maintenance, experience of working in a busy office and undertaking a broad range of tasks, a good standard of general education, the ability to work unsupervised, empathy with the ethos and mission of the Roman Catholic Church, a flexible approach to working hours and an ability to travel cross the Widnes Deanery as required.
