Part Time, 17½  hours per week

Salary £25,652.90 per annum
(£51,305.80, Full time equivalent)

 
An opportunity is available for a Schools Officer to work within the Department for Education based at the Archdiocesan Office, Sefton Park, Liverpool.
 
Reporting to the Director for Education, your primary responsibility will be to provide support and advice to headteachers, school governors and clergy across 240 schools and colleges associated with the Archdiocese.
 
We also offer 5 weeks holiday (pro rata) plus a matched contribution pension scheme which is available via The Peoples Pension.
 
Applicants must have; Good standard of education to degree level or equivalent, qualified teacher status, experience of headship in Catholic Schools or comparable leadership level in a local authority, knowledge of school improvement strategies, highly developed verbal and written communication skills, ability to use own initiative and work to deadlines and to be a practising Roman Catholic.
