Parish Administrator
St Margaret Clitherow Parish (based at Holy Family Presbytery, Boothstown)

16 hours per week
worked over 4 days, Tuesday - Friday
Salary £8,320.00 per annum
(equivalent to £10.00 per hour)

An opportunity is available for a highly skilled and experienced administrator to work in the parish office at Holy Family Presbytery working closely with the parish priest, Fr Paul Grady. The hours of work are part time, to be worked over 4 days; Tuesday 9.00am-2.00pm, Wednesday 12.30pm-3.30pm, Thursday 9.00am-2.00pm, Friday 9.00-12.00pm.
The successful candidate will be required to provide high quality support in all aspects of day to day and financial administration to include producing letters and booklets, issuing certificates, maintaining parish registers, recording income and expenditure  and managing petty cash.
Candidates must have empathy with the ethos and mission of the Roman Catholic Church and a commitment to the work of the parish, pastoral area, schools, the local community and other parish groups.

Applicants must have; experience of working in a similar role dealing with a broad range of administrative tasks, excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience of recording income and expenditure and an ability to work unsupervised. Experience of implementing new administrative processes and knowledge of local parish community would be advantageous.
