Diocesan Schools Officer
An opportunity is available for a Schools Officer to work within the Department for Education based at the Archdiocesan Offices, (LACE), Sefton Park, Liverpool.

Reporting to the Director of Education, your primary responsibility will be to provide support and advice to headteachers, school governors and clergy across 228 schools and colleges associated with the Archdiocese.

You will be required to work up to 21 hours per week by flexible arrangement to meet the needs of the Department. The salary is £30,783.48 per annum (full time equivalent salary is £51,305.80). We also offer 5 weeks holiday (pro rata) plus pension scheme with The Peoples Pension.

Applicants must have; Good standard of education to degree level or equivalent, qualified teacher status, experience of headship in Catholic Schools or comparable leadership level in a local authority, knowledge of school improvement strategies, highly developed verbal and written communication skills, ability to use own initiative and work to deadlines and also be a practising Roman Catholic.
