As you will be aware everything is changing day to day re Government guidance and information regarding the Coronavirus writes Helen Jones

Here at BBC Radio Merseyside we have changed some things too.

I will be presenting the weekend breakfast shows on BBC Radio Merseyside  on Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday.

On Good Friday a virtual church service will be broadcast from 3.00 pm to 3.15 pm in the afternoon on BBC Radio Merseyside

On Easter Sunday the service will be broadcast from 8.00 am to 8.30 am led by Cardinal Vincent Nichols

Each week BBC Local Radio has a virtual service on Sunday breakfast shows.

The service is broadcast from 8.00 am to 8.30 am Sunday morning on BBC Radio Merseyside

Also there is the opportunity for Faith communities and individual listeners to use BBC Sounds where we are hosting previous local Act of Worships broadcast on BBC Radio Merseyside, listeners can listen back or play at a time that suits them.

There will also be the opportunity over the duration - for faith groups to share what is happening for them - on the Sunday morning Daybreak show.

Do please let me know if your local community group, parish church, or Youth Group is doing something to help during these difficult times, what are you offering online / facebook / youtube - so that BBC Radio Merseyside can include stories and public service info in our ‘Make a Difference’ feature at quarter past and quarter to the hour 6.00 am to 6.00 pm everyday.
