Christian play 'White Rabbit' to inspire Lowe House for Lent

Tickets available for 19th March performance

Young people will be reminded of the priceless value of a youthful spirit when Animate Youth Ministries welcome a professional Christian theatre company to St Mary’s, Lowe House on Thursday 19th March from 7.30pm.

Lowe House in St Helens becomes the latest stop on the RISE Theatre company’s Lent 2015 tour for its play White Rabbit – billed as ‘the story of two people and their journey to faith: a powerful tale of love, loss and self-discovery’.

White Rabbit, a production suitable both for adults and for children aged 12 upwards, focuses on two young people in London – Jenny, caught in the rat-race, and Tom , whose life has stalled after a relationship break-up. An unexpected encounter with a stranger from the past precipitates a journey of self-discovery for both characters, as they rediscover what it means to live like children: to be fearless, to dream, to believe.

The play contains the central themes of Lent and Easter and conveys a message of faith, hope and forgiveness. It could be an appropriate way for parishioners to ‘do something extra’ during this important liturgical season. White Rabbit also provokes questions that may be used as discussion points for a follow-up meeting or to anchor an already existing parish group.
