Louise Zanré, director of the Jesuit Refugee Service, will give the 2016 Memorial Lecture of the Archdiocese of Liverpool’s Justice and Peace Commission at LACE on Sunday 17 January.
This year's edition of the annual event – taking place between 2pm and 4pm – will be an opportunity to better understand the complexities of the refugee and asylum-seeker situation. In her lecture, entitled 'Overcome indifference and win peace', Louise Zanré from the JRS in the UK will reflect on Pope Francis's message for Peace Sunday.
The J&P Memorial Lecture is held at the Archdiocesan centre for evangelisation LACE (Croxteth Drive, L17 1AA), with doors opening from 1.30pm. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 0151 522 1080.
