APCMC Ltd is seeking to appoint a Parish Centre Managers/DPS in Liverpool. The primary function of the role is the day-to-day operation of the parish centre by successfully managing stock and cash and a team of staff members. Compliance with licensing, statutory regulations and company policy will also be a key responsibility.
Supported by an Area Manager and other operational team members and in liaison with the Parish Priest, the successful candidate would be responsible for promoting the parish centre, attracting new customers and providing a consistently good experience to all who visit or host family celebrations or church events.
St Anthony of Padua Parish Centre is in the local area of Mossley Hill, bordering Aigburth and Allerton. There is a very popular function room with a busy private function trade during the day and evening. The links with the Catholic Church, at the same location are strong and the parish centre is used by parishioners for a number of church meetings. As a part time role, the balance between parish usage and function trade would need to be managed carefully. Car parking is available on site.

Able to attain a personal licence and DPS status
Committed to offering excellent customer service
Experienced in the handling of cash
Able to working in and contribute to a team
Flexible in their work hours to include day/evening and weekends
The following would be advantageous:
Experience of working in the Licensed Trade, catering, retail or leisure industry
Supervising and training staff members
Promoting a business and controlling costs
