Would you like to join our voluntary team of Cathedral guides and welcomers, dedicated to greeting our visitors? If so, we would love to have you on board!

We have a large group that needs to be even bigger.

Our request is for volunteers to cover one three-hour duty period each week, 10-1 or 1-4, selected from Mondays to Saturdays (with a current focus on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday).

You might prefer to focus on meeting, greeting, and dealing with enquiries at our welcome desks.

Alternatively, you may like to show people around our Cathedral and Crypt, or perhaps combine the two roles. We would train you in advance and on the job.

Before taking up the role, or training for the role, you would be required to comply with Archdiocese of Liverpool safer recruitment and DBS process. As part of this process, you would be required to apply for an enhanced DBS certificate.
