This will be the first ASC presided over by Archbishop John Sherrington, who will give his keynote address in the afternoon.

• 10:50am – Report on progress since last ASC
• 11:20am – Deanery report summaries
• 12:00pm – Feedback session
• 1:10pm – Keynote address by Archbishop John Sherrington
• 2:45pm – Accompaniment intro by Kate Wilkinson
• 3:00pm – ASC Executive Membership & Final Blessing
Fr Philip Inch, Episcopal Vicar for Pastoral Organisation and Synod Implementation, said: “Our annual ASC meeting plays a key part in our Synodal journey. It is a chance for people from across our archdiocese to have their voices heard so I would welcome as many people as possible to join us online.
“This year’s gathering is especially significant as we welcome Archbishop John Sherrington to his first ASC. I’m confident the meeting will spark many important and fruitful conversations.”
The ASC is a permanent synodal body which aids and guides the Archbishop in his decision-making about pastoral matters concerning the archdiocese. He will listen to the voice of the ASC, and in the light of that, he will be better enabled to make the right decisions.
