Joe Griffin, Education Administrator at the Archdiocese of Liverpool, shares his Lourdes experience:

After following on from my Mum, who went on the first Youth Pilgrimage from Liverpool in 1976, and again later on after meeting my Dad, as well as my siblings who went in the 2000s, I went to Lourdes on Pilgrimage three times with Coach 9 between 2017 and 2019.

Lourdes really is a special place that brings an experience you just can’t quite describe, and the Youth Pilgrimage is a fantastic opportunity to make some really unique bonds with the people you meet both on your own coach, and across the wider Pilgrimage.

I’m actually hoping to return to Lourdes with my parents in July for the 50th anniversary!
