The start of the weekend brought another early start for the hospitalite team and youth clocking in for duty at the St Frai.
The teams help get the sick pilgrims ready, have their breakfast and also clean the hospital ward.
The day started with Mass of Anointing in St Bernadette’s Church at 10.30am, where the assisted pilgrims received the sacrament of the sick.

Youth took part in the annual Grotto Games at the Prairie, a chance for fun, team building and socialising. The rain stopped play, but they gathered inside for a mass singalong.

Adoration took part in St Joseph’s Chapel, followed by the Eucharistic Procession.
The day ended with pilgrims watching Lourdes: A place of Prayer – a telling of the story of the encounter between the Blessed Virgin Mary (Our Lady Immaculate) and St Bernadette.
