School Chaplain, Notre Dame Catholic Academy, Liverpool

Responsible for developing the Academy’s Catholic identity and ethos, building on the Academy’s educational and spiritual tradition. The chaplain will work closely with staff to support, maintain and develop Gospel values and encourage the spiritual life of the whole school community and to continue the work of St Julie.

The Governors of this high achieving school seek to appoint a flexible, highly motivated, reliable, articulate individual to join their team of support staff. The successful candidate would be expected to develop good working relationships with both teaching and support staff and you should set high standards and lead by example, upholding the school’s Mission Statement, ethos, rules and regulations. It is essential that the successful candidate is a committed and practising Catholic with a thorough understanding of the social teaching of the Church and experience of working with young people or young adults. Excellent interpersonal, communication, advisory, guidance and organisational skills along with an understanding of Faith development are also required.
